Emmanuel Babled

Emmanuel Babled was born in France in 1967. He studied art and design at Istituto Europeo di Design, Milan, graduating in 1989. After graduating, Babled stayed in Milan, opening his studio, Emmanuel Babled Studio, in 1992. Here, he collaborated with notable brands such as Baccarat, Bulgari, and Venini, creating luxury glassware, tableware, and unique pieces. In 2010, Emmanuel Babled moved his studio to the Netherlands.

For his designs, Emmanuel Babled expertly blends traditional craftsmanship with modern Italian design. He works with high-quality materials while recognising where they come from, from Murano glass to Carrara marble to Sicilian volcanic stone. By sourcing local products and utilising local craftspeople, Babled ensures his products are crafted from the finest materials and built to last. His work has been showcased in exhibitions worldwide and featured in significant design publications, making him a prominent figure in design.
