Hopf & Wortmann

Constantin Wortmann and Benjamin Hopf, founders of studio Büro für Form, have strong design backgrounds. Wortmann studied design in Munich before working as a freelance designer for Ingo Maurer. Benjamin Hopf studied design at the Miami International University of Art & Design, continuing his education in Munich. He went on to work for Siemens Design before Wortmann and Hopf joined forces to open Büro für Form in 1998.

Hopf & Wortmann design lighting and accessories with a focus on organic shapes and geometric elements. They believe that a product needs a touch of personality as well as being functional, adding a unique element to interiors. Hopf & Wortmann have exhibited designs around the world and collaborated with notable brands including Habitat, Fingermax, Flötotto, and KDLN. In 2006, when Benjamin Hopf left the studio, Wortmann renamed the studio Constantin Wortmann, Büro für Form.
