Pierre Charrié

Pierre Charrié is a graduate of ENSCI-Les Ateliers and the School of Fine Arts. For many years, Charrié built his experience in product design whilst working with creative agencies for various brands. He now works independently and focuses on the sensory dimension of everyday objects involving sound, movement and touch. He has worked with brands such as Petite Friture, Habitat and Maison & Objet.

Charrié has been involved with projects which have been celebrated and exhibited worldwide, which fuels his collaborations with brands in the design and development industry. He has a sensory approach to design and works with a wide range of natural materials, including wood and ceramic, as well as more rarely used feathers or mother-of-pearl.

His work has earned him a variety of global awards. Charrié won the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris in 2015, was named Young Designer of the Year by Elle Décoration France in 2017, and was named one of AD magazine’s Top 100 Designers of 2019 and 2020.
