Marset Santorini Indoor Pendant Light
Marset Santorini Indoor Pendant Light is a decorative suspension light by Sputnik Estudio, inspired by the lanterns traditionally found on fishing boats. First developed as an outdoor pendant, Santorini was later adapted for indoor use, replacing the original rubber cable and brighter finishes with a black fabric cable and a softer colour palette. Its rounded glass diffuser is surrounded by a series of polycarbonate shades, giving the pendant its distinctive layered appearance.
One of Santorini's most interesting features is the freedom to arrange its shades. Their number, position, and direction can be altered, allowing the appearance of the pendant and the way it distributes light to be changed. Depending on how the shades are arranged, the light can be directed downwards or reflected into the surrounding space. This makes Santorini particularly interesting when several pendants are hung together at different heights, although it also works well individually over a dining table, kitchen island, or seating area.
The indoor version is available in Light Green and Sand, both paired with a black fabric cable and ceiling canopy. The diffuser is made from blown, pressed glass, with the coloured shades supported by a polycarbonate structure. Santorini is hardwired and uses a replaceable LED lamp, allowing the light source to be selected separately. The collection also includes the
Santorini Outdoor Pendant, which has a different construction suited to exterior use. Most suited to dining rooms, kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, reception areas, restaurants, cafés, and interiors where an individual pendant or group of lights can provide adjustable direct and reflected illumination.
