&Tradition Raku Portable Lamp

The Raku Portable Lamp was inspired by the traditional Japanese pottery technique, Raku. Designer Sebastian Herkner wanted to create a lamp with precious materials and an inviting form, and allowed the selection of materials to guide him during the design process. The two metal variations for the sleek shade were carefully considered to complement the lamp’s ceramic base, while the base’s crackle glaze adds a unique character to each piece.

The Raku is available in two finishes: Blue Green & Brass or Beige Grey & Bronzed. These stunning colourways reflect the way the lamp bridges Japanese and Danish design, creating a bold visual impact in any space. When switched on, the Raku produces a soft downward illumination, perfect for adding cosy lighting to the room. A 3-step dimmer allows users to adjust light intensity as required. Charge via the included USB-A charging cable for up to 20 hours of light, depending on the brightness selected. The Raku Portable Lamp can be displayed in a bedroom, reading nook, or living room to create an inviting atmosphere with intimate lighting. Its IP44 rating allows it to be used outdoors to illuminate warm summer evenings.
