Artemide Tolomeo Basculante Reading Floor Lamp

The Artemide Tolomeo Basculante Reading Floor Lamp keeps the clean and minimalist lines of Tolomeo, with an aluminium and steel structure that gives the lamp lightness and robustness. Designed by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina, it belongs to the wider Tolomeo collection, first launched in 1987.

In the Basculante version, the aluminium head is replaced by a balanced diffuser, available in parchment paper or silk satin fabric, which casts a soft glow into its surroundings. The system of spring-balanced arms allows the light to be moved with ease, while the diffuser remains vertical regardless of the angle of the arm.

Artemide Tolomeo Basculante Reading Floor Lamp is available with a Natural parchment diffuser or a grey satin diffuser, both with an aluminium base. Best suited for reading corners, lounges, bedrooms, and quieter work spaces where a floor lamp can provide adjustable light with a softer diffused character.
