KDLN Kyudo LED Floor Lamp

Designed by German studio Hansandfranz, the Kyudo Floor Lamp is a large luminaire that conveys balance and elegance. Meaning “way of the bow”, Kyudo is the Japanese martial art of archery, with an emphasis on spiritual and physical discipline. Characterised by its arched form, which mirrors a bow, Kyudo offers a sculptural presence while achieving a sense of harmony and tranquillity. Its slim frame maintains visual lightness despite the lamp’s generous size.

The Kyudo Floor Lamp is made from two metal arcs that slide over one another, allowing the form to adjust with smooth, precise movement. This fluid motion lets users easily shift between focused downlighting and a softer, lower ambient light. The integrated LED light source is dimmable, for lighting that suits any mood. In a living room, the Kyudo Floor Lamp can be placed beside a sofa to create a generous pool of reading light.
